Signing a painting is easy, but how do you sign metal artwork? All RayHarr metal work will have a trapped nut hidden somewhere in the piece. For wall mounted pieces, it will usually be tucked away in one of the lower corners. For metal sculptures, it will be hidden almost anywhere. It's a small stainless-steel nut mounted on a small piece of bent metal welded to the frame. It would take bolt cutters or an angle grinder to remove and would likely damage the piece. The nut will spin freely revealing the stamped lettering of RAYHARR. How do you get seven letters on a six-sided hexagonal nut? Well, find the trapped nut on an original and see how it's done.
